- Shampoo & Conditioner:
The shampoo and conditioner you use makes up for 80% of your hair’s overall health, and it’s especially important to be using good products when you have extensions. Some of the ingredients in drugstore shampoos are unsafe to use on extensions, and can ruin the hair or make them fall out, which is why it’s imperative that you only use the products your stylist recommends when you have extensions.
At the Amanda Moncur Salon, we not only have a variety of brands that are extension safe, but we also have an extension-specific haircare line that was crafted by our owner to be safe to use on extensions, and formulated for the dry Utah climate! If you’ve worn extensions before, you know that keeping them moisturized and luminous can be a bit of an uphill battle, and that goes double if you live in Utah.
